My name is Joe.
I'm a complicated guy. I'm a lifelong learner and doer of many things.
I love exploring new and exciting areas of life, learning new skills, and challenging my beliefs.
I've been a janitor, a laborer, an electronics technician, a military NCO and Officer, and a program manager for tech companies. I have held senior positions within engineering organizations at the largest tech companies.
I've lived way below the poverty line and way above it.
Life is about living and doing what makes you happy, and I'm on an expedition to do just that.
My mission is to elevate everyone within my sphere of influence. I want to help you achieve great things.

Over the last few decades, I've learned that you can do pretty much anything for a short time, complicated things.
I have a family who inspires me every day and who gives me the energy to do what I love to do.
Most of my life has been an expedition to the thing that brings a smile to my face. Unfortunately, these activities can't always bring in a steady paycheck. So, much of what I've done in my life, the jobs I've held, were just a way to earn money to put food on the table and clothes on our backs.
But the longer you live, realizing that money isn't everything, you begin to pursue happiness for sanity and overall welfare. If you find a job that you love going to every day, then you've found your passion. Stick with it, and congratulations!

Enough negativity
Adults have told me many things growing up, but one of the most damaging is that I couldn't do something that interested me.
"You don't have the head for math," says my 10th-grade math teacher
"You can't skateboard," says the cool kid around the corner
"You'll probably not be successful in college," said a counselor.
"Oh, you want to be a writer? That and fast food will help you support your family", said one of my English teachers.
Don't allow others to disqualify you before you even have a chance to prove yourself.
Believe in yourself
You really can do anything if you put enough energy behind it.
The world is full of heroic stories of people who overcame incredible odds to accomplish amazing things.
You can also, and I believe it.
